Manifesto

Everyone is able, differently.

This didn't start as a business plan. It started at home, watching one boy build a path nobody had handed him.

Differentability

The word "disability" never sat well with me. It implies a lack — a lack of some ability. But is that the whole truth? Or is it simply a different way of doing things, one that doesn't conform to the majority? What if we called it "differentability" instead? A word that feels a lot closer to the truth.

Let me tell you a story. A boy was born without a hand. And yet, from his earliest years, he refused to let anything limit him. He loved the adventures of the playground, chose tennis of all sports, and gave his heart to music. An electric guitar he inherited from his uncle became his loyal companion — against everything "normal." How? Differently. He forged his own path, and he's genuinely good at it. I might be biased — he's my son — but you can judge for yourself.

So many of our limits, we place on ourselves. Because it's easier. The world lowers its expectations of us, and then — sadly — we start lowering them of ourselves too. "I'd love to play an instrument, but I don't have a hand…" "I dream of travelling, but I don't speak any languages…" "I deserve a better job, but I'm not smart enough…" What limits have you run into?

Limits are often just constructs — things our own minds build. If your heart truly wants something, what's holding you back? Could you approach it differently? Maybe — just maybe — you're "differentable" too…

Why uNickorns exists

Too many capable teenagers are told they're "too much" or "not enough." Too loud, too quiet, too weird, too ambitious. They learn to hide what makes them stand out, so they can fit in with everyone else.

uNickorns grew from one belief: difference isn't a flaw to hide — it's material to build with. Out of what makes you different, something can be made that no one else would make quite the way you would.

From passivity to agency

Agency is the quiet certainty that you have influence — that you can start something, build it, change it. It's the difference between waiting to be told what to do and seeing a problem and getting to work. Everything we build points in that one direction.

Four pillars
01
Think against the grain

Question what looks obvious, ask uncomfortable questions, find your own way instead of repeating everyone else's.

02
Create boldly

Make the first version before you feel ready. Better to show something imperfect than to show nothing at all.

03
Cooperate with empathy

The best things are built with people, not next to them. Listen, give, take the other person into account.

04
Build real confidence

Not the kind that comes from motivational quotes — the kind that comes from things you've actually made.

Mission

We want to create a space where teenagers don't have to pretend to be like everyone else.

They can think differently, ask uncomfortable questions, try, make mistakes and discover what they're really capable of.

We help them turn ideas into action, learn responsibility, cooperate with others and build confidence — not on praise, but on real experience.

We don't want to tell young people who to become. We want to help them discover who they already are — and what they can do with it.

Vision

We dream of a generation that doesn't wait for someone to give it permission, point the way, or decide on its behalf what it's good for.

Young people who know their worth but don't feel better than anyone else. Who create boldly, cooperate with empathy and take responsibility for their ideas. Who don't treat their difference as a problem to fix, but as something that can become their strength.

We want uNickorns to become an international movement of young people who don't just try to find their place in the world — they learn to create it.

Let's be clear

What uNickorns is not.

Not a traditional school

Not a place where you sit and listen. Here you do — and learn by making real things.

Not a get-rich course

No "become a millionaire in 30 days." We care about real capability, not shortcuts.

Not empty coaching

No motivational affirmations. Confidence here is built on evidence, not slogans.
